Chemicals & Dangerous Goods
Classified and non-classified chemicals moved in drums, IBCs and ISO tanks, with DG documentation checked before booking.

WHY IT IS DIFFERENT
Dangerous goods, declared and accepted before they move
Chemical logistics is about acceptance as much as transport. Each carrier, port and country applies its own rules on top of the international DG codes, and a shipment that is not declared correctly can be rejected at the gate or held at destination.
LOGISTICS REQUIREMENTS
What this cargo needs from a forwarder
Classification — UN number, class, packing group and proper shipping name confirmed.
Safety Data Sheet — a current SDS for every product.
Packaging — UN-approved drums, IBCs or ISO tanks suitable for the product.
Segregation and stowage — carrier rules for incompatible classes.
Mode rules — IMDG Code for sea, IATA DGR for air and ADR for road in Europe.
HOW WE HANDLE IT
Planned around the cargo, not the rate sheet.
Our DG desk reviews the SDS and packaging before requesting carrier acceptance, and prepares the DG declaration for each mode. Houston and Rotterdam handle most chemical flows, with Dubai supporting Middle East distribution.
