Customs Brokerage Specialist
Prepare import and export declarations in the Netherlands and support customers with classification and origin questions.
THE ROLE
The Rotterdam customs team files declarations for ocean, air and road shipments and reviews documents before cargo arrives. You will work closely with our ocean desk and with customers’ compliance teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and submit import, export and transit declarations
Review invoices, packing lists and certificates for accuracy
Support customers with HS classification and origin documents
Coordinate inspections and holds with terminals and authorities
Keep records in line with audit requirements
REQUIREMENTS
Experience filing customs declarations in the EU
Good understanding of HS classification and customs valuation
Dutch and English; German is an advantage
Careful, well-organised and comfortable with deadlines
