Project Cargo Coordinator

Support heavy-lift and out-of-gauge moves for energy customers, from route surveys to supervised loading.

THE ROLE

The Houston project team plans breakbulk, heavy-lift and out-of-gauge shipments for oil, gas, power and chemical projects. You will support the Project Cargo Lead on planning, supplier coordination and on-site supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collect cargo data and coordinate route surveys

  • Request quotations from vessel operators, heavy haulers and crane suppliers

  • Track permits, escorts and port slots

  • Attend loading and discharge operations

  • Prepare shipment reports and close-out documentation

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in project cargo, breakbulk or heavy transport

  • Able to read general-arrangement drawings and lift plans

  • Willing to travel to ports and project sites

  • Valid US work authorisation
