Ocean Freight Coordinator
Coordinate FCL and LCL shipments on our Asia–Europe and Gulf lanes, from booking to delivery.
THE ROLE
Our Dubai ocean desk handles import and export shipments for manufacturers, retailers and distributors across the GCC. As an Ocean Freight Coordinator you will own a portfolio of customer shipments and keep them moving against cut-offs, free time and delivery windows.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Book FCL and LCL shipments with carriers and consolidators
Check documents against bookings before vessel cut-off
Track shipments and update customers on milestones and exceptions
Coordinate import clearance and delivery with the customs and trucking teams
Monitor free time to avoid demurrage and detention
REQUIREMENTS
2+ years in ocean freight operations
Working knowledge of bills of lading, Incoterms and container types
Clear written and spoken English; Arabic or Hindi is an advantage
Comfortable with a freight management system and spreadsheets
